Does Scott's Plumbing Offer Free Estimates?
Plumbing costs can be difficult to estimate as some of the work needed may be hidden in walls or underground. However, we will do our best to provide an accurate estimate of costs based on our extensive plumbing experience.
We will provide a detailed estimate that you can rely on if you are willing to pay for an on-site service call. If you choose us to do the work, we won’t charge another service call fee for the next visit.

Should I Invest in a Tankless Water Heater?
Although tankless water heaters can provide advantages over conventional water heaters, there are some factors that should be considered.
- You will spend more money on the purchase of a tankless system and installation costs will be high if you are not already properly set up. In many situations, retrofitting can cause the costs to exceed the expected benefit.
- The mineral content, or hardness, in your water precipitates out in the heat exchanger and can cause clogging, reduced efficiency, increased maintenance, and premature failure. Tankless heaters require yearly maintenance and flushing to remove this mineral content.
